"España de cerca" is a collection of interviews and other resources through which we try to better know what Spaniards are thinking about a variety of topics and what that reveals to us about them and their country. This site is available through the Open Course Ware from MIT and accompanies the vocabulary handout available as a post on this blog. After you have studied the vocabulary, click on a person's picture to hear their responses. Click here to begin.
One of the very best places to go for added practice is Notes in Spanish. Here you can add more practice to what you have heard in class. We have the transcripts, so if you want to have the sheets as you listen, see your teacher or stop by D-143 and ask Dr. Vasconcelos to make you a copy.
