Powers Ferry Teacher Appreciation: January 2008
The Powers Ferry teachers and staff were happy for the lunch and candy jars that were delivered during conference week. MIC assembled the colorful treats and the MUST cooks prepared a wonderful meal of fruit salad, chicken salad, brownies, and more.

MUST: November 17
We are going to be cooking and serving a meal for MUST ministries this weekend (Saturday November 17th). All spots will be filled at a first come first serve basis, so if you want to help make sure you check your email from your group leader for more information.
Saturday --- 11 to 1:30 Preparing
Saturday --- 5:30 to 7:45 Serving
This is a great experience, so if you haven't served at MUST yet, please consider doing so.
ALSO - We need lots of Cookies!
We need people to bake (not buy) 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies that are 2.5- 3 inches in diameter. Check your email for more details about where and when to drop off the cookies. You will receive service hours for participating.
Monday in the Commons: Letters to Soldiers
In October, the students at Monday in the Commons wrote letters to soldiers that will be distributed through a local group that supports AnySoldier. If you want to read more about the local group's work, click here.
