Walton can nominate qualified students for the prestigious Danforth Scholars Program at Washington University in St. Louis for 2011. The criterion is as follows:
- You must be a SERIOUS applicant for Wash. U.
- You must have strong academics, including rigor of curriculum.
- You must have made an exceptional contribution to the community with service and leadership.
- You must have proven leadership and personal integrity that is above reproach.
- You must have a desire to lead your community in service for the future.
- No essay is required at this point.
A nomination from a faculty member or leader in the community letter must be submitted by Friday, September 30th. At the end of the day, no more names will be considered. Please see Mrs. Lenenski in Guidance if you are interested in being considered for this scholarship.
