OCA-Georgia is proud to announce their 2011 scholarship program. We are seeking qualified graduating high school seniors for its 2011 OCA scholarship program. Applicants will be evaluated on their scholastic and personal achievements. Qualifications for the scholarship are as follows:
- All full-time graduating high school seniors in good academic standing (minimum GPA 2.75 on 4-point scale, or 3.44 on 5-point scale), of any ethnic or cultural background, who plans to attend higher education
- Applicants must be a United States citizen or a permanent resident of the US
The 2011 OCA scholarship consists of the following categories:
- Academic Achievement: $400 each: male & female
- Athletic Achievement: $400 each: male & female
- Community / Cultural Achievement: $400 each: male & female
- Overall: $1,000 one winner
OCA is a national non-profit organization that is dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans in the United States. OCA-Georgia is one of 50 local chapters across the US.
The deadline for applications is Friday, November 4th, 2011.
