Each year, the Jacob D. Bullock Foundation, will award a limited number of academic scholarships to honor the life, accomplishments and contributions of Marvins Mathurin, during his short life as a youth football player, student, friend, brother, son and grandson. You are eligible to be an applicant if you are a Georgia resident, expected to graduate High School in 2012 and enrolled as a full-time student in a two or four-year college/university. Career pursuit must be in one of the following professions: Social Work, Social Science, Family and Child Science, or Early Childhood Education.

Application Periods to Apply for Scholarships:
Applications Due: November 1, 2011 – January 31, 2012
Scholarships Awarded March 1, 2012

Criteria for Scholarships:
- 3.0 GPA
- Official academic transcript in a sealed envelope from your school
- At least 20 hours approved community service
- Extracurricular Activities (clubs, sports, etc.)
- Honors & Awards
- 3 Character References
- 300-500 Word Essay
