You must be an incoming male freshman at UGA with a 3.0 or higher to be eligible for these scholarships, sponsoreed by the Phi Kapp Theta fraternity: Jeff Jowdy Scholarship-$500, Petzel-Wood Scholarship - $500, David E Stooksbury Scholarship - $1000. You are not required to join the fraternity to be eligible for these scholarships. A personal statement and essay is due along with the application on Thursday, June 30, 2011.
