This opportunity is designed to help outstanding low-income high school juniors prepare to apply to top colleges. 1500 students will be selected to attend college admission conferences held at colleges; 45 students will be receive personalized admissions counseling; 100 students will have travel expenses paid to visit partner colleges.
Academic achievement including GPA, course rigor, writing ability and standardized test scores are considered along with financial need. (Most College Prep Scholars come from families earning less than $60,000 annually and have experienced long term economic hardship.)
