We learned how to multiply and divide imaginary numbers with our calculators....homework for tonight if not finished in Math Support is page 13 5-33 odd. See attached syllabus for the remainder of the unit.
Tonight's homework is page 8 7-27 odds. We finished our unit tests this morning since we were interrupted on Monday. They will be corrected and available for correction on Monday the 29th. Our new syllabus will be posted here tomorrow.
Tomorrow there will be a quiz on graphing. Students will be using the graphing calculator to do all graphing....remember we have a class set and their graphing calculators that were checked out from the school along with their books should remain at home. The unit 2 test will be next Thursday, September 17th. Tonight's homework is a quiz review....if I didn't sign your student's agenda then homework was not completed.
We were able to check out graphing calculators from the bookroom this week. We will be sending them home as soon as I get my class set of calculators....probably Monday. I will be sending home emails requesting that students keep their calculators at home for the remainder of the year. Until then, we are doing all homework during math support.
Quiz part 1 today on multiplying and simplifying radicals. We will finish the quiz tomorrow....be ready to divide radicals as well as add/subtract them. Tomorrow we will also begin our test review for the test on Monday. Test will cover: factoring, solving by factoring, solving by quadratic equations. These topics include the skills we covered on today and tomorrow's quiz.
Homework tonight is to finish Wkst #10 which we worked extensively on today. There is a quiz on last week's radicals on Wednesday....and a test next Monday on everything we have done since school started!
