All Graphic Arts Students - Portfolio Due 4/27 Friday

Portfolio - please download the attached file if you lost the one handed out in class. This project is a great way to boost your grade, especially if you have struggled a bit with the technology. This is just a "Get it To LOOK NICE" project. Please foolow the criteria and let me know if yu have any questions.

Intermediate Graphic Arts

Project #2 - Due Tues Apr. 24th.

Digital Pre-Press -Soap Box design and build. Designs are due 4-13-12 (Thumbnails, Rough and comp)_

Offset Printing - all students need to do a paper feeding sample, written assignment, Chap.18. All need to design and print as a group

Screen Printing- all students need to read article and type a summary to submit with project INCLUDING A COPY OF THE ARTICLE.

Talk Talks Presentation

If you did not see the presentation in class, please review the information and do the Retail Alphabet Game on page 7 (don't look at answers) and see how many companies or products you can figure out. HAVE FUN with it. Type is EVERYWHERE!!

Using the attached handout and the one in the previous post and any other resource such as the internet, complete the Typography Unit Sheet. You will only need to do the following highlighted numbers. #1 was done earlier in the semester, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9. 8 and 9 are lab exercises. Download 1. TYPOGRAPHY UNIT4-12-12. Definitions are due on 4/13/12 end of the period.

Illustator Test on Tues. 2/14. Log into www.quia.com. Enter your user name and password and change your password to something you will remember. Then add your email address. 

Do several of the Illustrator activities to prepare for your test on Tues. (Adobe Illustrator Tools and Palettes).
