Walton in State Baseball Championships at Walton!!

TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR STATE BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Walton will play  Kennesaw Mountain for the State Championship beginning on Friday, June 1st in a best of 3 game series at Walton.  IT IS EXPECTED THAT THE GAMES WILL BE A SELL-OUT.    Walton's allotment of Tickets will be available for advance purchase through the Walton Dugout Club for Walton friends and fans.  Tickets will be presold for $7.00 cash at the Walton Baseball field on Thursday, May 31 from 7:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and 4:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.; and on Friday, June 1st from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.  Walton Baseball T-Shirts will also be on sale for $5.00. 

GAME TIMES AT WALTON 

Fri. 6/01/07  

Games 1 & 2 Double Header starting at 5:00 pm  

2nd game approx. 30 after conclusion of first game 

Sat. 6/02/07

Game # 3 (if needed)

Gates will open at 3:00 P.M.  Get there early as a big crowd is expected!

Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteer Opportunity :

The PTSA is looking for some volunteers to help at the front desk during the summer.  We are looking for people to work a two hour shift (10 am-12 pm or 12 pm-2 pm) on any weekday from May 30-June 8 and from July 25-August 3.  We anticipate having a brief training session on Tues, May 29 at 1:30 pm.

Walton Soccer Summer Camp

The Walton Soccer Coaches are holding their annual summer camp

during the weeks of May 30 - June 2 and Jun 4 - 7 from 9am-noon.

The camp is open to all middle-schoolers (including rising 9th graders).

The Walton PTSA is having a Special Called

General meeting on:

Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 9:30 am in the Atrium/Front Lobby area of the school

The purpose of the meeting is to vote on a proposed budget amendment.

We would like to appropriate some funds to help with Walton's web site redesign.

We encourage as many PTSA members as possible to come to this meeting.

The Walton Spirit Shop will be having their last sale of the year this coming Friday, May 18th during lunch from 10:30am-1:30pm.  Be sure to stop in to get your Walton gear before the end of school.  Almost everything in the shop is on sale for a significant savings.  Tell your friends and come pick up some great items for Raider fans young and old!  See you in The Shop!
