Easy and Fun Volunteer Opportunities!

The PTSA has several fun volunteer opportunities coming up (especially if you like working with the students). No preparation necessary!

Hearing and Vision--Crowd Control

We have the testers--now we need some parents to direct students during testing. All 10th grade students and those new to Cobb County are being tested. We need help on Friday, Oct 5 and Wednesday, Oct 24th. Shifts are from 9:40 am to 12 pm or 11:40 am to 2 pm. Please contact Julie Orologas, our PTSA Hearing and Vision Chair, at orologas@bellsouth.net if you can help!

WEB Media Center Volunteers

Heidi Nunn, Our PTSA volunteer who helps monitor students in the Media Center during WEBs, is looking for a couple of people to assist her. It's fun and easy! Volunteers are needed from 12:30 to 3pm on WEBs. Please contact Heidi at nunj@bellsouth.net if you are interested.

Hosts/Hostesses for Parent Education Seminar

PTSA is bringing the popular 'Parents Deserve a Brake' Seminar on teen driving to Walton on Thursday, Nov 8th. We need 5 volunteers to serve a dinner (provided by Chick Fil A) and to hand out goodie bags and do some light clean up after the program. If you can help, please contact our PTSA Co-VP, Laurel Gross, at guberduber@aol.com.
