Princeton Review SAT Review Course -Project 2400
Attention Junior Parents: Your child may have an opportunity to take Princeton Review's SAT Prep Class for Free!
Cobb County Chamber of Commerce and Princeton Review have teamed up again to offer 'Project 2400'. Project 2400, created in 2006, is a strategic partnership between the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and the Cobb County and Marietta City school districts to help enhance our students' SAT scores. They have worked together with The Princeton Review to offer SAT prep classes for our students.
This year, Walton High School will have the opportunity to submit 24 students to take the SAT Prep class offered through The Princeton Review, AT NO COST. The cost of the class is typically $999.00. Students who are interested will fill out a commitment form (stating that they commit to attend all of the classes, which will be offered at Walton High School beginning in late January and ending in late April, and further committing to take the SAT in May).
The classes will be held one afternoon per week for two hours. This will last for approximately 15 weeks (3 of those classes will be actual practice tests). Once all commitment forms are turned in, 24 students will be randomly chosen.
A parent information meeting will be held Thursday, November 8th at 7:00pm in the media center at Walton High School. So Raider parents, if you have a Junior who could benefit from SAT Review, plan to attend the meeting for additional information/specifics.
Commitment forms will be given out in all Junior homerooms on November 7th, and they will also be available at the Parent Information Meeting.
