Walton Tennis Program Meeting Thursday, Dec 13

To all parents and students interested in the Walton Tennis Program:

The coaches and booster clubs are hosting a meeting to explain the Walton Tennis Program and provide information about upcoming activities and tryouts.

If your child is interested in trying out, important information will be distributed Thursday Night, Dec. 13, at 6 PM in the Walton Commons.

SPECIAL WEEKEND SPIRIT SHOP HOURS

The Walton Spirit Shop will be open for all you spirited shoppers this Saturday morning, Dec. 8th from 10am to 1pm.

Come do some holiday shopping and also get your Raider-wear for the big game Saturday night.

If you can't make it this Saturday, we will also be open for your shopping pleasure next Saturday, Dec. 15th, 10am-1pm.

So stop in and pick up some Walton apparel for every member of your family and show your Raider pride.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Fundraiser at 12/11 Basketball Game

There will be Leukemia and Lymphoma Fundraiser at the Dec 11th Home Basketball Game vs Pope!

Bring your donation or join in the Half Time Shootout for $1.00.

All Proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

In the 1960’s only 4% of those diagnosed survived—now due to research made possible because of donations 85% survive!

Please bring any size donation--from small change to checks made out to “The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society”

e-high School Registration Information

e-High School Spring Session 2008

Did you know that 90% of post secondary institutions nationally and 100% of Georgia Colleges and Universities include online learning as part of the classroom experience? Are you interested in giving your student exposure to online learning prior to college? Cobb’s online learning program, eHigh School, offers high quality online courses that equip students to thrive in the complex life and work environment of the 21st Century. Since 2001 eHS has served over 5000 students.

eHigh School will begin registration on Friday, January 4, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. for seniors and on Monday, January 7, 2008 for all other students.

Registration ends at noon on Thursday, January 24, 2008. Students interested in taking courses can register online at www.cobbk12ehighschool.org.

Additional information, including FAQ’s, student participation expectations, refund and withdrawal policies, and a list of course offerings is available on the eHigh School website.

Tuition is $275 for .5 unit courses and $550 for a 1.0 unit course. A student taking a .5 unit course should be able to devote 5 - 10 hours per week to complete coursework. Student taking a 1.0 unit course should be able to devote 10 - 15 hours per week to complete coursework.

Here's the scoop on purchasing advance tickets to the Football SemiFinals in the GA Dome for Saturday's 6 pm matchup against North Gwinnett :

Wednesday the 5th: Raider Valley Ticket Booth from 5-7 p.m.

Thursday the 6th: Raider Valley Ticket Booth from 5-7 p.m.

Thursday and Friday during all 3 lunch periods.

Friday night at the Raider basketball game

Tickets are all $15.00 each and it's General Admission seating.

Please bring exact change or make checks payable to 'Walton High School'.

Get your Raider spiritwear while you're buying your tickets.
