Please find the attached information for the AP Human Geography Summer Assignment. The entire assignment is listed on the document linked below. Please DO NOT procrastinate! Try to spend small amounts of time throughout the summer reading (and taking notes, if you would like) or practicing with the map items.

All AP Human Geography students need to read Things Fall Apart (1994) by Chinua Achebe. This can be a new, used, electronic, loaned or checked-out version/copy. You will not have to bring it to class or turn it in.
We highly recommend that you take an "active" role in reading since you will be tested over this material. You are NOT required to, but should consider utilizing some of the following strategies to help you learn and retain the material: underlining/highlighting important passages, taking notes, creating a study guide, character/location sheet, timeline of events, etc.
------------------------------------------------------------------
You are also required to know the relative location or most of the world's countries and a few regions of interest. The following is a practice Power Point I've made to help you review the relative location of the countries and regions you are required to know. There are great review websites & games you can play at the end of the Power Point.

If the link above doesn't work you can try some of these to help you practice countries/regions...
